Warriors’ Durant out with thigh contusion

Kevin Durant is a two-time NBA champion.

Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant will not play Wednesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a left thigh contusion.

Durant is averaging 24.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists through 11 games this season while shooting 53.0 percent from the field and 46.4 percent beyond the arc.

The Warriors enter today with a 8-3 record, good for a first-place tie with the Houston Rockets in the rugged Western Conference.
