The first Spanish passport
To obtain a Spanish passport in Cuba, you must fulfill the following requirements: be Spanish, be registered in the consular registration register, appear in person before the consular office, pay the fee (30 euros) and submit the required documents.

Dates for obtaining Spanish citizenship in Cuba
Spanish nationality: minors and majors.
Persons who are or were subject to the parental authority of a Spaniard, whose father or mother was a Spaniard born in Spain, may elect, without time limit; People whose parentage (identifying the person’s parents) or place of birth in Spain is established after the age of eighteen.
As well as people adopted by Spaniards after the age of eighteen. The option period is two years from the date of approval.
Currently, there are no appointments available for citizenship for minors, as the picture shows. In the case of seniors, there are shifts for February 2024, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
LMD appointments in Cuba. It allows the acquisition of Spanish citizenship, under the Law of Democratic Memory, for descendants who fall into three main cases.
– People who were born outside Spain and have Spanish ancestry through their father, mother, grandfather or grandmother, either because they are Spanish by origin or because they regained Spanish nationality after losing it or renouncing it for reasons of exile.
– Spanish women who were born before 1978 and married foreigners, thus losing their Spanish nationality, and their sons and daughters born abroad.
– Sons and daughters of Spaniards who have reached legal age and who have chosen their original Spanish nationality, as provided for in the Law of Democratic Memory or the Law of Historical Memory.
Appointments for 2024 are not yet available for this procedure, there are only places available for December 26th and 27th.
