Troglio initially featured an all-star eleven with Alex Güity, Maylor Núñez, Brayan Beckeles, José García, Carlos Sánchez, Carlos Pineda, Jorge Álvarez, José Mario Pinto, Kevin López, Yan Maciel, and Jerry Bengtson.

In the 23rd minute, Olancho hit the first goal for Lyon through midfielder Christian Callix, who received the ball just wide of the area and took a strong right hand that was impossible for Alex Goiti. Great goal!

The second part and tone

So they went to rest and the Argentine coach of Albus changed the whole squad. Jose Mendoza, Axel Gamer Maldonado, Jonathan Paz, Julian García, M.

The modifications did not work out with Olimpia, and Argentine striker Agustín Uzmendi, who finished the 2022 Apertura tournament as the top scorer with 12 goals -tied with Clavin Zúñiga-, entered the stadium and scored two goals to secure Olanshana’s victory.

Starting in the second half, in the 49th minute, the local defense recovered the ball and started the counterattack. Uzmendi brought it down to Carlos Ovidio Lanza, took the ball, opened the band for Cristian Altamirano who ran a few metres, lifted a beautiful three-finger cross, and Agustín Mendoza fired home.

The “killer” from South America appeared again in the 53rd minute with another hammer kick, it was a precise header after a corner kick and the team that was taking the most winning team in the history of the Honduran National League was already humiliated.

A minute earlier, Jose Mendoza made a save after a great cross between Uzmendi and Ovidio Lanza, who shot it hard and the Olympic goalkeeper blocked a corner kick that led to the Colts’ third goal.

The strike was extended at 80 minutes on set play, Mario Martinez curled a low free kick and José Danilo Tobias was able to connect to send the ball into the back of the Olimpia goal.

The worst night for Olympia ended with one of their signings being fired for the season. Edwin Solani Solano receives a red card after kicking Ángel Oseguera hard.

Now Olimpia will have to change the slide, as it will start preparing for its debut in the Clausura 2023 tournament, which will take place on Sunday, January 22 at the Estadio Carlos Miranda de Comayagua against Real Sociedad at 4:00 pm.

For their part, the colts from Olancho will face Marathon de Salomon Nazar on Saturday the 21st in Juan Ramon Privet Vargas at 7:00 p.m.
