14-year veteran Al Jefferson will play for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers in China instead of the NBA, according to a report from David Aldridge of NBA.com.
Jefferson played this past season with the Indiana Pacers. He had an opportunity to re-sign with Indiana, but was offered a nice payday to play overseas.
Al Jefferson will play for the Xianjing Guanghui Flying Tigers in China.

Jefferson appeared in 36 games with the Pacers in 2017-18. The 33-year-old averaged 7.0 points and 4.0 rebounds while shooting 53.4 percent from the field.
Jefferson began his NBA career with the Boston Celtics in 2004. He has also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Utah Jazz and Charlotte Hornets.
In 915 games, Jefferson has averages of 15.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
