CC Travesía and Aspanaex create space for inclusion in the commercial district
Travesía Shopping Center joins World Environment Day celebrations Initiates an action in cooperation with spanish, a leading association in Pontevedra County that works towards the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
Aspanaex users build ‘space for embedding’, a lounge area that will open in the coming weeks in the Travesía Shopping Center and is made of recycled materials and wood from furniture from the shopping complex that is supposed to give a new and symbolic use.
“This initiative highlights work developed in professional workshops by persons with intellectual disabilities, making visible inclusion and their inclusion in society, as well as encouraging recycling and reuse of materials to contribute to the sustainable development of which Travesía is fully committed,” says Angelica Vallajan, Director of Travesía Shopping Centre.
In designing and detailing this new space, ، Users who participate in the decoration, crafts and recycled paper workshops taught by Aspanex; A total of 30 people with intellectual disabilities plus professionals and association managers.
