Cuida was established as a project within it Rimac Insurance Geared to explore digital opportunities in the health sector. Docte.pe It also has a comprehensive program for chronic disease patients and will launch a short-term preventive screening service.
“What we also seek is to strengthen prevention and prevent people from relapsing or worsening their condition and finally being able to recover from it.”, Confirms.
Cuida also has a monthly subscription service for medicines aimed at chronic patients (koida) and also using an e-commerce called Cuidafarmacia.pe.
In the latter case, Tapia specifies that the value proposition seeks to differentiate and not focus solely on the convenience of prompt delivery. “We want to target specific areas that require frequent treatments or that need follow-up treatment.”.

Valeria Tapia commented that Cuida Co’s goal by 2022 is to continue to grow in the insured sector and begin exploring B2B and even B2C channels. In addition, they will benefit from existing synergies with Rimac Insurance And International Clinic.
“We will continue to experiment with new models. We will also seek to unify all our services in one site that live today on different platforms”, commented. Tapia adds that one of the company’s other priorities is making all information about their health available to patients. “We want them to be able to access their latest diagnoses and medical history as much as possible”.
