Jedward shares hilarious reactions after shaving her famous strings for the Cancer charity
Jedward shaved their famous cliffs as part of their goal to raise money for a cancer charity, in honor of their late mother.
The music duo have known for their long haircuts since their debut The X Factor In 2009.
However, baby twins John and Edward Grimes decided to shave their hair to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society’s Daffodil Day appeal.
Their mother, Susanna Grimes, passed away in 2019 after living with cancer “for many years”.
Then the singers said in a statement: “Rest in peace Mami. You live through us. We will miss you and we will miss your smile. She has shaped who we are. Mami has lived with cancer for many years but has always been full of life!
“You live in our memories and you will always live in our hearts.”
The 28-year-olds took part in RTE Late Show On Friday, March 26th, they commented that they are sending “strength, unity and solidarity” to anyone being treated for cancer.
Then they proceeded to shave each other’s hair.
“We have had this poetry for over 10 years,” said Edward. “It’s part of who we are. I don’t think we’d be here today if we didn’t have hair, but this is the first time we’ve had hair like this since the beginning of Jedward.”
