Nicolas Maduro applies the first dose of the Russian Sputnik-V vaccine

(CNN Español) – The Venezuelan president who has been asked, Nicolas Maduro, applied his first dose of Russia’s Sputnik-V vaccine on Saturday with his wife, Vice President Cilia Flores.

My first dose. After receiving the vaccine, the President said, “I am vaccinated.” Likewise, he stated that “he will guarantee all vaccinations for the people of Venezuela.”

He said they were “giving birth” to obtain the resources needed to obtain more immunization doses.

He indicated that he had reached an agreement with the Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization to allow them to obtain 300 million dollars in exchange for paralyzed gold – according to Maduro – from sanctions at the Bank of England. But they haven’t delivered it yet.

After the presidential election in May 2018, which was questioned by the international community, England ignored Maduro and instead recognized the president of the National Assembly, Juan Guaidó. Who will keep Venezuelan gold in England is currently under review.
