Public Health has reported 336 cases of COVID-19 and 3 deaths

Santo Domingo, August 4 (EFE). – This Wednesday, the Dominican Ministry of Public Health reported 336 new cases of the Covid-19 virus and 3 deaths from the disease, of which 343,186 people have been infected since March last year in the country, of which 3,971 died, according to official data.

Among the infected, 324,861 exceeded the information, bringing the number of active cases to 14,354.

According to Public Health, 544 people are hospitalized due to COVID-19, occupying 21%, while intensive care units (ICUs) are at 28% of capacity, with 175 occupied beds.

According to the Daily Public Health Bulletin, the number of respirators in use is 110, with 21% of the availability.

The daily positivity rate was 5.81%, while in the past four weeks it was 8.52%.

In the last day, 6,897 PCR tests were processed
