The Salesian Institute of Valdivia, ISV, was crowned with the collective victory of the 2022 School Basketball Championship, after defeating the German Institute Carlos Anwanter in the final, 86-60.

In third place was the School of San Luis de Alba, followed by the Technical School.

With this result, the Salesians will represent the municipality in the regional stage of the championship.

Sports tournaments were held at the Antonio Azurmendi Riveros Coliseum.

Two former Valdivian basketball players, Keith Hood and Daniel Mitter, were responsible for handing out medals to the winners.

ISV played the penultimate match against the Valdivia Technical School, where the Salesians won 116 to 42.
