(CNN Español) – The online sales company will hold its seventh Prime Day, during which within 48 hours it will offer millions of products from its catalog for sale.
The event, scheduled for June 21-22, targets Amazon Prime subscribers.
To date, the company has more than 200 million subscriptions to the charging and streaming service around the world.
In the past year alone, the event provided Amazon’s third-party sellers, mostly small and medium-sized businesses, with $3.5 billion in revenue, “an increase of nearly 60% year-over-year, and even more growth than Amazon’s retail business,” she said in a company statement that Jeff Bezos will step down from his presidency this year.
In this way, Prime Day returns to its usual dates almost all over the world except for Canada and India, where they decided to postpone the event due to the impact of covid-19, and after 2020 it happened in October due to the impact of the pandemic.
