Pelicans’ Davis to undergo further tests on groin

Anthony Davis of the Pelicans went down with a sprained left ankle Wednesday night in Sacramento and will have an MRI on Thursday.

New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis suffered a left groin injury Friday against the Utah Jazz and was forced to leave the game.

Davis did not return and needed help to the locker room. He’s averaging 25.2 points per game on the season.

ESPN is reporting Davis will undergo further testing Sunday in New Orleans to determine the extent of the ailment.
