Cavs’ Altman spotted scouting Luka Doncic

Cleveland Cavaliers general manager Koby Altman was spotted scouting 18-year-old Real Madrid shooting guard Luka Doncic on Thursday during Euroleague play.

Doncic is projected to be a top five pick in next year’s draft. The Cavs acquired the Brooklyn Nets’ first round pick in 2018 in the Kyrie Irving deal.

Doncic, 6-foot-7, is currently averaging 21.6 points per game for Real Madrid.

ESPN draft experts have said Doncic is widely considered a potential top overall pick, but scouts have concerns on whether he is athletic enough to defend his position as well as create his own shot.

Altman is no nba player personnel and it is quite evident. He thinks that jahlil okafor is unsuitable for the cavaliers yet zizic, a guy with just size no talent, is a better fit? Take the two young jewels, facetiously stated, osman and zizic and trade them away for roster flexibility. These two will be non entities as: sasha pavlovich, alonzo gee, chrisian eyenga, anthony bennet kay felder and joe harris.

  2. Altman is not an nba player personnel expert!
