Along with the Philadelphia 76ers, veteran free-agent guard Jamal Crawford is drawing interest from the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, ESPN has reported.
According to the report, Crawford is not near a deal with any team. Also, the Warriors are likely to re-sign guard Patrick McCaw, which would eliminate them as a possibility for Crawford, per ESPN.
Crawford, 38, averaged 10.3 points and 2.3 assists off the bench for the Minnesota Timberwolves last season. The Timberwolves declined to give Crawford an extension this offseason, sending the three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner into free agency.
Crawford is 6-foot-5 and has also spent time with the Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers. He also played 54 games for the Warriors during the 2008-09 season.
