Favors, Jazz agree to new contract

Derrick Favors is re-signing with the Utah Jazz, according to multiple reports.

Favors has agreed to a two-year deal to remain with the Jazz.

In 77 games this past regular season, Favors averaged 12.3 points and 7.2 rebounds while shooting 56.3 percent from the field for the Jazz.

Utah defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first-round of the playoffs, but lost to the Houston Rockets in the second-round. During the postseason, Favors posted 9.3 points and 5.2 rebounds. He shot roughly three shots less per game compared to the regular season.
