Former NBA forward Jeremy Evans is expected to replace another former NBA forward with Turkish club Darussafaka, according to Sportando, which reported Evans and Darussafaka are nearing a contract.
Evans would take the spot of Cory Jefferson, who failed a physical.
Evans, 30, is 6-foot-9. He played for the Utah Jazz from 2010-16, and appeared in 39 games for the G-League’s Erie Bayhawks last season, compiling averages of 15.3 points and 9.9 rebounds.
Jefferson, 27, has spent limited time in the NBA with the Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Nets.
