Memphis Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks needs to undergo a procedure on his right toe and is expected to miss the remainder of the season, according to a report from Shams Charania of Stadium.
“Brooks will undergo a procedure, but is expected to fully recover and have full summer of workouts,” Charania wrote.
The Grizzlies just recently traded for guard Justin Holiday and and are looking to make more deals before the Feb. 7 deadline. The news about Brooks could push along some of those talks.
Brooks is in his second year and is averaging 7.5 points. He played in all 82 games last season, compiling averages of 11.0 points and 3.1 rebounds.
