The Miami Heat have received trade interest in shooting guard Josh Richardson this summer, but aren’t interested in moving him, according to a report from the Miami Herald.
Per the report, the Heat want Richardson to be more aggressive on offense in 2018-19 and are high on his potential.
In 81 games this past season, Richardson averaged 12.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists, shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from three.
The 24-year-old signed a four-year, $42 million contract extension with the Heat in 2017.
Richardson has been working on creating his own shot off the dribble this summer. The 6-6 swingman has been training in both Miami and California, per the report.
