The Charlotte Hornets are signing undrafted shooting guard Ahmed Hill to a two-way contract, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Hill is 6-foot-5 and averaged 13.5 points last season as a senior at Virginia Tech. He then signed with the Brooklyn Nets for summer league, averaging 6.8 points.
The Hornets also reportedly agreed to a training camp deal with guard Kobi Simmons on Tuesday. Signing both Simmons and Hill would potentially put them over the 20-man roster limit.
Nicloas Batum, Dwayne Bacon and Malik Monk are the shooting guards under guaranteed contract on the Hornets’ roster.
