Jazz, Exum agree on three-year extension

Dante Exum has agree to a three-year extension to remain with the Jazz.

The Utah Jazz have agreed to a contract extended with guard Dante Exum, according to a report.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports the Jazz and the restricted free agent Exum have come to terms on a three-year pact that will pay him $33 million.

The 22-year-old Exum, selected by the Jazz with the fifth overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft, played in only 14 games last season after undergoing preseason surgery on his left shoulder. He missed the entire 2015-16 season with a then ACL.

In the 14 games he played last season, the 6-foot-6, 190-pound Exum averaged 8.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 16.8 minutes, shooting 48.3 percent from the field and 27.8 percent from the 3-point line.
