Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr addressed reporters Sunday for the first time since it was announced Stephen Curry has a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee and said “there’s no way” the two-time MVP will play in the first-round of the 2018 NBA playoffs.
The playoffs begin Saturday, April 14. Curry will be re-evaluated by doctors near the start of the first-round.

Curry suffered the knee injury just as he returned from a left ankle sprain. Kerr says Curry is in good spirits knowing that surgery is off the table.
