Free agent swingman John Holland has agreed to a contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to a report from international journalist David Pick.
Holland, 28, impressed the Cavs during training camp and the preseason last year, but failed to make the cut for the regular season.
He has spent most of his career overseas after going undrafted out of Boston University in 2011. He has also played for the Canton Charge, the Cavs’ G-League affiliate, in each of the past two seasons.
Holland played one game for the Boston Celtics in 2015-16 for his lone NBA appearance. His deal with the Cavs is potentially a two-way deal, securing him for Canton for another season.
