Former New Orleans Pelicans small forward Jalen Jones has been claimed off waivers by the Dallas Mavericks, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.
To make room for Jones, the Mavericks are waiving former BYU standout swingman Kyle Collinsworth.
Jones, 24, was waived by the Pelicans earlier this week after appearing in four games and averaging 1.3 points.
The former Texas A&M standout spent considerably more time playing in the G League, averaging 19.1 points and 6.9 rebounds with the Texas Legends and Greensboro Swarm. He went undrafted in June.
Collinsworth appeared in four games with the Mavericks and averaged 1.0 points.
Both Jones and Collinsworth are on two-way contracts, per Yahoo.
