The Atlanta Hawks have waived shooting guards John Jenkins and Jordan Mathews, the team announced in a press release Friday.
Jenkins is 6-foot-4 and most recently appeared in four games with the Phoenix Suns.
He also spent time with the Hawks and Dallas Mavericks after being selected with the No. 23 overall pick in 2012 (by Atlanta). He has compiled career averages of 5.1 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.
Mathews, also 6-4, went undrafted out of Gonzaga — where he averaged 10.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 28 minutes per game.
