Green signs one-year deal with Rockets

Former Celtics forward Gerald Green has landed with the Rockets.

Free agent swingman Gerald Green has signed a one-year contract with the Houston Rockets, according to a report from ESPN.

The deal is non-guaranteed.

Green, 31, played 47 games with the Boston Celtics last season, and was waived by the Milwaukee Bucks in training camp in October. He averaged 5.6 points and 1.8 rebounds last year.

The well-traveled Green has also spent time with the Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets, Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves and Phoenix Suns.
