Free-agent shooting guard Brandon Rush has agreed to a 10-day contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to a report from ESPN.
The Blazers had until Thursday, per league rules, to add a 14th player and for now, Rush is that man. (See related Cavs story here.)
Rush, 32, appeared in 47 games with the Minnesota Timberwolves last season. He is in his 10th season and the Blazers will be his fifth team. He has also spent time with the Golden State Warriors, Utah Jazz and Indiana Pacers.
He averaged 4.2 points in each of the past two seasons. He averaged a career best 9.8 points with the Warriors in 2011-12.
As ESPN noted, Rush spent time with the Blazers over the summer before attending training camp withe Milwaukee Bucks. He was waived by the Bucks prior to the start of the season.
