The Division I and III semifinals tip off Friday at the Schottenstein Center.

Three Northeast Ohio teams have the chance to move on to Championship Saturday, but no more than two will advance.

Here’s today’s schedule, what to know about the teams and who to watch:

Division III

10:45 AM Villa Angela-St. Joseph (21-6) vs. Proctorville Fairland (25-1)

What to Know: 2017 marks the fifth-consecutive trip to Columbus for VASJ. Proctorville Fairland was ranked fourth in the state in the latest AP Poll for Division III, while VASJ was ranked eighth.

Players to Watch:

VASJ: Jerry Higgens – junior, guard, 5-foot-9 (First Team All-Ohio, 16.7 ppg)

Fairland: Isaiah Howell – junior, guard, 6-foot-2 (First Team All-Ohio, 15.2 ppg)

2:00 PM Archbold (22-5) vs. St. Bernard Roger Bacon (24-4)

What to Know: Roger Bacon made the State Semifinal in 2016. Archbold has not reached Columbus in ten years.

Players to Watch:

Archbold: Bryce Williams – junior, guard, 6-foot-2 (Special Mention All-Ohio, 14.8 ppg)

Roger Bacon: Craig McGee – senior, guard, 6-foot (Second Team All-Ohio, 12.8 ppg)

Division I

5:15 PM Pickerington Central (26-2) vs. Cin. Archbishop Moeller (27-0)

What to know: Moeller is undefeated and is the underdog. Pickerington Central’s second-best player, Sterling Manley has a scholarship to North Carolina.

Players to Watch:

Pickerington Central: Jeremiah Francis –  sophomore, guard, 6-foot-2 (First Team All-Ohio, 15.7 ppg)

Moeller: Keegan McDowell – senior, forward, 6-foot-5 (First Team All-Ohio, 12.9 ppg)

8:30 PM Massillon Jackson (26-2) vs. St. Edward (23-5)

What to Know: Jackson makes its first trip to Columbus since winning the State Championship in 2010. Ed’s has reached Columbus 10 times since 1996.

Players to Watch:

Jackson: Kyle Young – senior, forward, 6-foot-7 *Committed to Butler* (First Team All-Ohio, 18.1 ppg)

St. Edward: Tommy Schmock – senior, guard, 5-foot-10 (12.7 points, 7.2 assists per game)
