According to Marc Stein of ESPN, free-agent point guard Jose Calderon is likely headed to the Atlanta Hawks this weekend.
The Atlanta Hawks hope to add Jose Calderon to their roster as early as Saturday, according to league sources.

Atlanta has one open roster spot and Calderon is playoff-eligible, as he was waived by the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night, just before the playoff eligibility deadline.
The Warriors waived Calderon to make room for Matt Barnes as a result of Kevin Durant‘s MCL sprain.
Calderon spent less than two hours as a member of the Warriors and earned $415,000.

If Stein’s reports come to fruition, Atlanta will be Calderon’s third team in the last week, as he agreed to a buyout with the Lakers on Monday.
Calderon would likely serve as Dennis Schroder‘s backup for the playoff stretch, as Atlanta (34-26) currently sits in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, 7.5 games out of first place and 1.5 games behind Toronto for the fourth seed.
