Report: Sixers will trade Okafor to Nets

Former 76ers and Nets big man Jahlil Okafor remains available in free agency.

The wait is finally over for Jahlil Okafor.

According to a report by ESPN, the Philadelphia 76ers will trade the disgruntled Okafor to the Brooklyn Nets.

Philly will receive forward Trevor Booker and also send guard Nik Stauskas and a second-round pick to Brooklyn.

The Nets will release guard Sean Kilpatrick to create a roster spot for Okafor and Stauskas, per ESPN.

Okafor informed the Sixers at the beginning of the season that he wanted to be bought out or traded. He was the third overall pick in the 2015 draft out of Duke and has career averages of 14.6 points and 5.9 rebounds.
