Teodosic exercises his player option with Clippers

Milos Teodosic has picked up his player option with the Clippers, according to a report.

Milos Teodosic has opted in on his player option with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to a report.

Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports says the guard chose to exercise his $6.3 million option to remain in Los Angeles.

The 6-foot-5, 196-pounder out of Serbia averaged 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 25.2 minutes in 45 games (36 starts), shooting 41.9 percent form the floor and 37.9 percent from deep.

Even though the 31-year-old opted in, there is no guarantee he’ll remain with the Clippers. His contract calls for a guarantee of only $2.1 million if Los Angeles decides to waive him by July 15.
