An itinerant technical training space

It has a dance and ballet school from Latin American styles. Students train twice a week.

Carlos Ilanis has been running the cultural group “New Art” for more than ten years.
It has two places: the dance school, intended for those who want to start their formal studies, through the Institut de la Folklore in Buenos Aires.
“In this space, dance is done with children from 7 years old to young people in their later years as teachers. Some graduates also give lessons. It works with a study plan where the history of the dance, the authors and the development of their dances are seen. Everything is ready and at the end of the year comes.” The teachers from Buenos Aires are taking the exams and after 5 years they get their diplomas, “Ilanis said. On the other hand, the Nuevo Arte Ballet is more aimed at artwork. It features Latin American dances such as Peru, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Bolivia and Uruguay.
At this time, rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, at the popular Alfonsina Storni Library on Paso de los Andes Street and Bahía Blanca (Rawson) and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Recrearte Cultural Space (General Acha and Progreso, Rawson). Contact: 2645308534.
