The Los Angeles Clippers extended a qualifying offer to center Ivica Zubac, according to Shams Charania of Stadium.
They did the same with swingman Rodney McGruder, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reported.
The moves mean Zubac and McGruder are both restricted free agents, giving the Clippers the right match any rival offer either player receives.
Zubac was acquired by the Clippers from the Los Angeles Lakers at the trade deadline in February, and proceeded to average 9.4 points and 7.7 rebounds over the final 26 games following the deal.
Meanwhile, McGruder was signed by the Clippers in April after he was waived by the Miami Heat. He did not appear in any games with the Clippers but played 66 games for the Heat, averaging 7.6 points and 3.6 rebounds.
