The Queen’s tone was impeccable about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s exit from royal duties | Royal | News

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have announced unexpected news that they intend to step down from their senior royals a year ago, sparking confusion among company members and fans of the property. The Queen received surprising news after the couple allegedly gave the royal family only 10 minutes’ notice before announcing it.

Speaking in the Channel 5 documentary, The Queen: In her own words, former British Ambassador Charles Crawford made it clear that Her Majesty’s tone when addressing the issue was “flawless”.

He said, “When the Queen makes a statement, it is a capital“ S ”statement.

“This is because there is something that needs to be recorded.

The tone was impeccable and above all very short.

The Queen published a second statement highlighting the importance of setting Harry and Meghan’s exit rules.

It was released after the Duke of Sussex confronted the Queen herself, Prince Charles and Prince William in a series of conversations that took place in Sandringham.

“My family today had very constructive discussions about the future of my grandson and his family,” the statement read.

“My family and I totally support Harry and Meghan’s wish to create a new life as a young family.

Her Majesty said that these are “complex issues” for the company and warned that “there is more work to be done” before reaching a final conclusion.

Crawford, a speechwriter, said the king’s statement was a “firm” message to the British about the situation.

He said: If the queen asked for something, it would happen. He also sent a public message to people advising Harry and Meghan – “It’s over, let’s move on to an agreement and move on.”

“It was a well-worded but firm statement that says this is where things stand, just so you all know, and that’s it.

The royal correspondent, Roia Nikka, praised the queen for finding a way to solve the problem.

She pointed out that there was no resentment in Her Majesty’s statements because she sought a way to satisfy her grandson’s request without allowing him to harm the monarchy.

“The Queen is still the president, and the president has had to get involved, negotiate, find a deal and a way forward,” Ms. Nick said.

The Queen’s handling of it was very pure. While we had a small mention of her saying “I prefer them to remain as working family members,” there was no resentment in any of her statements.
